Lava™ Plus Full Contour Zirconia

3M Lava Plus Zirconia is a high strength, high translucent zirconia material. Lava Plus offers significantly higher translucency than the original Lava Zirconia, without compromising strength. Using a unique zirconia shading liquid system, we can produce natural looking monolithic or PFZ restorations.

• Strength: Average 1,150 - 1,250 MPa

Indications:

• Single units up to full arch bridgework

• All PFZ and full contour restorations

Preparation:

Shoulder preparation not required; feather edge is okay. Conservative preparation with a least 0.5 mm of occlusal space, with 1.0 mm being ideal.

Cementation:

A resin-reinforced glass ionomer cement such as RelyX™ Luting Cement from 3M ESPE or GC Fuji Plus™ from GC America.
